PANAMERICANA DE PATENTES Y MARCAS, S.C. was founded in 1942 by Nicolás Alcalá del Olmo, Spanish immigrant, and former Head Officer of the Trademark Office in Spain. In 1965, Miguel A. Esteva becomes senior partner and General Director, a position that he has held since.

Our office began in a small suite in downtown Mexico City. As business expanded, and downtown became too conflictive, PANAMERICANA moved to a house, which was refurbished into an office in the Southern part of the City. Finally, to provide our clients with a modern and much comfortable headquarters, construction of our new building (also in the southern section of Mexico City, and relatively close to the Patent and Trademark Office) began in 1998, offices to which we moved in May of 1999.

PANAMERICANA is exclusively dedicated to Industrial and Intellectual Property practice, providing clients with a personalized service covering all their industrial and intellectual property needs. We pride ourselves in offering a personalized service, suited to each and every client's needs and also of our quick response turnaround time.
